Broccoli + Tahini-Miso Dressing

Simple, flavorful, and creamy, this broccoli tossed with tahini-miso dressing is full of nutrition and ready in minutes!

No empty calories in this recipe, each ingredient holds benefits to unlock your body’s full potential. This easy-to-make dish can be served as a side dish, paired with rice or quinoa, or simply eaten as is.

I found this to be a great lunch or dinner – a ‘mono meal’ if you will – with a nice glass of lemon water, it was filling and light, yet very satisfying.

I look forward to coming back to this again and again. Feel free to serve the broccoli either raw, steamed, or roasted. I have mine lightly steamed here. If keeping broccoli raw, you may like to keep the florets on the smaller side.

How To Make Broccoli + Tahini Miso Dressing

This recipe is so easy to make and will be ready in about 10 minutes!

Gather your ingredients:

  • 2 cups broccoli
  • 1 green onion

For the Tahini-Miso Dressing

  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 tablespoon white miso
  • juice of one lemon
  • 1 tablespoon tamari
  • pinch or two red pepper flakes, optional
  • 1 tablespoon – 1/4 cup water or more depending on how thin you like it

Put it all together:

Mix the dressing ingredients in a small to medium size bowl, add water in small increments until desired thickness/thinness.

Next, steam the broccoli, or serve raw. Lastly, toss the broccoli with the dressing, add in the green onions, gently toss again and enjoy often!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups broccoli
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced

Tahini-Miso Dressing

  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 tablespoon white miso
  • juice of one lemon
  • 1 tablespoon tamari
  • pinch or two red pepper flakes, optional
  • 1 tablespoon – 1/4 cup water or more depending on how thin you like it

Instructions

    Honestly, the first ime I ate this I was like “Hmm…its ok.” But since then, I have probably made it around 50 times. It is so addictive. I go through 3-4 kilos of broc every week. Its amazing. it is by far one of my most favourite meals.
